Farewell Alice Herz-Sommer! We are saddened to hear that the visionary musician and survivor of the Theresienstadt concentration camp died yesterday. Her love of music and belief in its power brought solace and hope to many in one of history's darkest hours.
Daniel Hope interviewed Herz-Sommer just a few months ago as part of the documentary "Refuge in Music", a tribute to the musicians of the concentration camp “Terezin”.
